One upload, two deliveries: the pixel-exact digital file and a 300 dpi print-ready sheet.
What each line means
Printed size — print at exactly 25 × 35 mm. A few millimetres off and most offices hand the form back before anything else is checked.
Digital size — the digital file must measure 295 × 413 px. Anything smaller gets refused by many online systems before a person sees it.
Background — a plain White/Blue/Red background, with no shadows or gradients. A wall lit unevenly is the fastest route to a refusal.
Resolution — 300 dpi keeps a face sharp in print. Below that, features soften and agencies ask for a retake.

How to take a 1-Inch Photo with your phone
The 1-inch photo size
The 1-inch photo is 25×35 mm. It is used for school enrolments, exam registrations, membership forms and many smaller documents in the Chinese photo studio menu. It is also the size chosen when the form does not name a size.
White, blue and red backgrounds
White, blue and red backgrounds are all in live use across Chinese forms, and the form chooses the colour. White reads neutral for general documents; blue is common for exams; red appears in some registration series. The preset registers all three; use the one your form names.
Setup and lighting
Any plain wall can be used as a starting point; the tool replaces the background with the named colour. Keep the light flat and the head centred; on a 25×35 canvas the head carries most of the frame.
Output size and file
The preset crops to the exact 25×35 mm rectangle at print resolution and exports the 295×413 px digital file, with the background set to the colour your form names.
Why 1-Inch Photo gets rejected
One-inch, two-inch and small one-inch sizes
One-inch is 25×35; two-inch is 35×49; small one-inch is 22×32. The studio menu treats them as a family; the form does not.
Wrong background colour
Handing a blue-background photo to a form that names white, or the reverse, fails at the counter even though every millimetre is right. The colour is part of the specification.
Common faults
Tilted heads, half-smiles and cropped shoulders are standard refusals for the smallest working rectangle.

Frequently asked questions
What size is a 1-Inch Photo?
The standard size is 25 × 35 mm (295 × 413 px at 300 DPI). The tool crops and scales your photo to exact requirements automatically.
Can I smile in the photo?
Requirements call for: a natural expression. When in doubt, keep a neutral face with both eyes open.
How recent must the photo be?
Old photos are a common rejection reason.
Is my photo private?
Yes. Uploaded photos are encrypted in transit and automatically deleted within 24 hours. We never share or resell uploads.
Which background colour does my form need?
White, blue and red are all in use across Chinese forms; check the form, then pick the colour — the tool sets it exactly.
Is this the same as the two-inch photo?
No. One-inch is 25×35 mm; two-inch is 35×49 mm. Each has its own preset.
