One upload, two deliveries: the pixel-exact digital file and a 300 dpi print-ready sheet.
What each line means
Printed size — print at exactly 35 × 45 mm. A few millimetres off and most offices hand the form back before anything else is checked.
Digital size — the digital file must measure 413 × 531 px. Anything smaller gets refused by many online systems before a person sees it.
Head height — your head, crown to chin, should span 25-35mm. Too small reads distant; too large and the crop will not fit.
Background — a plain White background, with no shadows or gradients. A wall lit unevenly is the fastest route to a refusal.
Resolution — 300 dpi keeps a face sharp in print. Below that, features soften and agencies ask for a retake.

How to take a Korea Visa Photo with your phone
Photo size and head measurement
The South Korea visa photo is 35×45 mm on white, the same rectangle as the Korean passport but measured differently. The visa band runs 25-35 mm chin to crown; the US system also uses this wider band. The passport measures the skull excluding hair.
Framing guidance
The wider band gives more latitude. Frame with the head centred and a little headroom, and both bands stay satisfied. Filling the frame breaks the tightest band first.
Digital file
The application takes a 413×531 px digital copy at 300 dpi alongside the print; one framed shot here exports both.
Setup and lighting
Half a metre from a plain white wall, phone at eye level. Frontal daylight gives the most even lighting; neutral expression, mouth closed, no hat. The preset outputs the print and the digital file with the background cleaned.
Why Korea Visa Photo gets rejected
Geometric faults
Rejections are mostly geometric: prints that are not 35×45 mm, tilted horizons, faces off-centre, or heads sized for a different format squeezed into this rectangle.
Background and retouching
Off-white walls, shadows behind the head and heavy retouching make up the remainder; the page checks ratio and background colour before download.
Head measurement mismatch
A photo framed to the passport's skull measure can sit differently under the visa band. Recheck it here instead of reusing a crop without checking.

Frequently asked questions
What size is a Korea Visa Photo?
The standard size is 35 × 45 mm (413 × 531 px at 300 DPI). The tool crops and scales your photo to exact requirements automatically.
Can I smile in the photo?
Requirements call for: a natural expression. When in doubt, keep a neutral face with both eyes open.
How recent must the photo be?
Old photos are a common rejection reason.
Is my photo private?
Yes. Uploaded photos are encrypted in transit and automatically deleted within 24 hours. We never share or resell uploads.
Can I take it with my phone?
Yes. Shoot against a plain white wall in even light with space around the head; the tool crops to the exact 35×45 mm rectangle and cleans the background.
What digital file does the application use?
413×531 px at 300 dpi; the tool exports the digital copy alongside the print.
