One upload, two deliveries: the pixel-exact digital file and a 300 dpi print-ready sheet.
What each line means
Printed size — print at exactly 35 × 45 mm. A few millimetres off and most offices hand the form back before anything else is checked.
Digital size — the digital file must measure 413 × 531 px. Anything smaller gets refused by many online systems before a person sees it.
Background — a plain White background, with no shadows or gradients. A wall lit unevenly is the fastest route to a refusal.
Resolution — 300 dpi keeps a face sharp in print. Below that, features soften and agencies ask for a retake.
Digital format — some portals accept a single file type and quietly refuse everything else. Check what you are handing over before you upload.

How to take a Korea e-Visa Photo with your phone
Korea online visa photo size
The Korea online visa photo is stated in millimetres, not pixels: 3.5cm × 4.5cm, the 35×45 mm rectangle, as a full-colour photo file. The Korean form uses the print dimensions and expects the uploaded file to match them.
Full colour requirement
The file must be full-colour. A black-and-white scan of a printed photo is not acceptable. The face must be frontal, the background white, and the tone natural. The form treats the file as the photo itself rather than as a picture of a photo.
Setup and lighting
White wall, frontal light, camera at eye level. Shoot directly as a portrait. Aim for the 35×45 proportion; the 413×531 px export carries it without stretching.
Preset output
The preset exports a full-colour 35×45 file at 413×531 px on white. Head position, background and ratio are checked before export.
Why Korea e-Visa Photo gets rejected
Photographs of printed photos
Photographing a printed photo fails as a copy. Paper texture, curved edges, and a visible studio backdrop are defects. The form requires a digital original with the print's dimensions rather than a print of the print.
Faded or filtered colour
Filters that warm the skin, desaturate the background, or vignette the corners read as altered colour. Full-colour means the camera's own rendering, with nothing layered on top.
Common faults
Tilted shoulders, hair over an ear, and glare from a window beside you are common reasons for rejection. The file is judged at exactly the size submitted.
