One upload, two deliveries: the pixel-exact digital file and a 300 dpi print-ready sheet.
What each line means
Printed size — print at exactly 35 × 45 mm. A few millimetres off and most offices hand the form back before anything else is checked.
Digital size — the digital file must measure 413 × 531 px. Anything smaller gets refused by many online systems before a person sees it.
Background — a plain White background, with no shadows or gradients. A wall lit unevenly is the fastest route to a refusal.
Resolution — 300 dpi keeps a face sharp in print. Below that, features soften and agencies ask for a retake.

How to take a UAE Visa Photo with your phone
UAE visa photo size
Check that the guide you are following is current. The UAE visa photo is 35×45 mm on white; current applications read that rectangle. The 43×55 mm frame that older guides describe has been superseded, and photos prepared at the old size come back on dimensions.
Face size and headroom
The ICP specification follows the ICAO template. Leave the headroom the crop needs; do not fill the frame with the face. The face takes up 70 to 80 percent of the photograph, and that band is about the head's share of the frame.
Digital file resolution
The digital version runs at 413×531 px at 300 dpi. It is exported alongside the print from the same shot.
Setup and lighting
Half a metre from a plain white wall, phone at eye level. Use even frontal light, a neutral expression, and no headwear. The preset crops to the exact 35×45 mm rectangle and flattens the background.
Why UAE Visa Photo gets rejected
Superseded photo size
43×55 mm prints submitted today fail on dimensions, even if they were framed well when the old guide was current. The counter now measures the 35×45 mm rectangle.
Background problems
Off-white walls, shadows, and gradients cause off-centre faces. The background must read as one flat tone. A corner in shade breaks that impression.
Photo rejection causes
Heavy filters, glare on glasses, and tilted heads. Glasses glare and a tilted head are judgement calls, and they fail a file as fast as a wrong size.

Photo tips
Frequently asked questions
What size is a UAE Visa Photo?
The standard size is 35 × 45 mm (413 × 531 px at 300 DPI). The tool crops and scales your photo to exact requirements automatically.
Can I smile in the photo?
Requirements call for: a natural expression. When in doubt, keep a neutral face with both eyes open.
How recent must the photo be?
Old photos are a common rejection reason.
Is my photo private?
Yes. Uploaded photos are encrypted in transit and automatically deleted within 24 hours. We never share or resell uploads.
43×55 mm or 35×45 mm, which one?
35×45 mm is the current requirement; 43×55 mm is the superseded frame. When a form shows the old size, follow the 35×45 mm preset unless instructed in writing.
Can I take it with my phone?
Yes. Plain white wall, even light, eye-level camera; the tool handles the crop and the background.
